The hiking path GR34

Walk in the open-air

Created in 1791 to fight against smuggling, the GR34 hugs the length of the coast, following all the natural landforms created by the weathering of the sea.

Visit the coastline from the polders of the bay at Mont St Michel up to the marshes near to the  Guérande island. Not to miss: the Emeraude coast,  the Granit Rose, Abers, the dunes, the beaches, the needles and the rocky cliffs, the swamps and all the wildlife along the way.

Either by the sun and its reflection in the water, or the spray of the open sea, the spirit of Brittany enhaces your journey, whether it be for 2 hours... or 2 months... all in the fresh air.

The GR34 runs along Saint Malo. You are able to walk along the entire shoreline of the Emeraude Coast from Cancale Bay to Dinard passing over the Barrage de la Rance.

There are 2 walks to follow in Saint Malo....
